This is the little waterside "coral Reef Restaurant" in Calibishie. It is typically open to the sea, however they are coated in plastic today to keep out the sheets of rain.

An "annex" next to the Coral Reef Restaurant. I sat in the tan chair drinking a Kubuli beer and reading while watching the surf until the rain chased me inside.

My lunch at Coral Reef Restaurant - Clockwise: Avocado and salad, fried potato, dasheen (speckled one) sweet potato (green one,) yam (white one,) plantain (banana-looking one) lentils, greens, and stewed fish, with rice in the center.

This is "Daphne's Diner." Prim sent me here to buy local rum, but she was all out. The little woman in the store must have been 100 years old with no teeth. She actually had one of the old balance scales on the counter.

These types of snack shops are all along the road that runs through the village of Calibishie, though most are open only in the morning.
