Abyunaki women do not wear the typically dark chador or hejab (manteau, or trench coat and headscarf) but instead wear a white long scarf with a colorful floral pattern. Men wear blousy black trousers.

Since the village is at a higher elevation, it is cooler here, and gets quite cold in winter. Houses are two-story where most people live on the bottom in the summer, and on the top in winter, according to LP.
